Melissa is the firm’s founder and Managing partner. She has served clients in our core business of procuring and organizing talent engagements and performances for the most popular names in contemporary music at the grandest venues around the world. With 15+ years of business management and ownership experience, Melissa has a diverse leadership background across multiple industries.
Melissa’s career achievements include launching a multi-million dollar company from the ground up, while developing a well-rounded executive background to include operations management, financial controls, marketing, sales, and new business development. In addition, Melissa has worked closely with key strategic partners on contract negotiations, publicity management, and has orchestrated large-scale events while meeting aggressive cost, time and quality specifications. She has extensive experience procuring corporate sponsors and developing new business partnerships across online, television, print and radio outlets. Melissa’s reputation in the industry reflects her focus on serving clients through a responsive, collaborative approach that positions them for sustainable success. Prior to founding Total Access Talent, Melissa founded Sessoms Public Relations (Sessoms PR), a full-scale public relations firm providing music artists, celebrities, corporations, non-profit organizations and politicians with publicity management. At Sessoms PR, Melissa executed sophisticated public relations campaigns and partnered with influential media leaders to position clients for success. Melissa’s reputation for excellence among the industry contacts she gained in operating Sessoms PR led to the founding of Total Access. Melissa spent her youth travelling the world as was a world-class swimmer and attended the University of Miami on a full scholarship, obtaining a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and English in addition to an M.A. Degree in Public Relations.
